Remember people earlier in the week saying K'Lavon Chaisson just isn't that good?

I heard it said well earlier today. Is he the next mingo, Montgomery, etc? No, he hasn’t been that guy. But he’s grown into a really good player and he played a whale of a game Saturday. Has played stout against the run all year.

He played awesome yesterday. His level is starting to catch up with his mouth. He is getting a bit better every week.

Thanks for demonstrating that you know nothing about football.

Drew a hands to the face penalty that was basically a hold that put them at -10yds. Just as good as a sack,

Yes he hasn't been the dominant pass rusher we had hoped for but he is quietly having a very productive year

Dude is playing his role well. If they kept a stat for Occupying Blockers, he’d be up there

People easily forget that this is basically his FIRST season playing, let alone starting at OLB.

He played sparingly his freshman year with Key here and was hurt last season in the opener against Miami. So, this is his first full season starting and as he gains more game experience he’s getting better every game.

If he stays in school then next season he’ll be 1st team All SEC and a big problem for opposing offenses.

Yes I do realize sacks are not everything but he was hailed the next coming of Mingo when he didn’t deserve any of those comparisons. He’s a solid player but we are getting 0 pass rush up front and he was supposed to be the stud pass rusher and he has not been that. It’s literally our only issue in both sides of the ball.

To be fair he finally played very well. Imagine if he got up for every game like he did Saturday. He would be mentioned in the same breath as Young.

You cannot sit here and say he has came anywhere close to expectations.

Go look at how they “block” him

He has to get his head torn off before a flag is called.

That’s every play.

Come on, no it’s not every play. I mean really I said the kid has played solid but to really act like on every single play he gets held is ridiculous. Defensive ends get judged on getting to the QB and not only has he not got sacks, he’s not even getting close. Pull the tape. shite they started dropping him in coverage. You don’t do that if he’s your best pass rusher. He has no pass rush moves at all. With Divinity out they need to find someone to get the the QB. Maybe Brooks can come in on passing downs.

He needs to come back for one more year regardless of the outcome of the season and he will be a top 10 pick!
