I can’t believe I just sifted through 11 pages of women’s basketball social media

Actually, I can. It’s another day as an LSU fan.

We alums and fans deserve better. You know what Kelly, Mulkey, Johnson, and even McMahon have in common? They are professionals that set a standard. I understand the irony given it’s mulkey’s team, but she will fix this.

Hell I coined “tPear”, I love him, but he might have even survived at LSU had he not flipped the NCAA off and dared them to punish him. Self hardly said a word. He acted like a douche and we idolized it. I’d take him over Matt all day but I can’t ignore his decision making.

You can’t stop kids from being kids but at least he’s setting a standard that exceeds what we are conditioned to. If our school had a deeper mission and code they probably wouldn’t be frothing idiots and take some pride in our school.

Screw em. There will be great hires and misses but I appreciate hiring high character people compared to what we’ve experienced in the past, baw!

And to add-the racial undertones in that thread are ridiculous. Stereotype jokes feed the trash and culture.

Reese deserves scrutiny, but stupid is lucrative I can’t blame her being dramatic and making a scene. It pays her bills. We should be angrier that is monetized.

LSU is such a strong brand because we are winners and we are utterly ridiculous. I just appreciate Woodward is trying to change the culture.

My point is that LSU has a culture problem and it embodies our state. Wasted potential and no pride.

It’s why our school sucks with donations. Alums are cranked out and it’s another number. The Aggies are douchebags but they are loud and proud and they take care of each other. It shows.

If any of these idiots in the twitter drama understood that and had any gratitude for what LSU has done for them as players and as parent’s kids they wouldn’t be such dipshits. But we don’t have that standard yet

You’re ranting but here we are…..

On topic, yes. LSU alums don’t give two shits about one another. There is no network of support post-grad, esp no where near that of the Aggie.

It came down to this when our boys picked a school:

Where would they get the best support?
LSU? aTm?
Answer, sadly, was easy……..

You guys need to stop. We don't want to be like aggies. They are an absolute cancer once you get a handful in an organization.

Please tell me what McMahon's standard is. Because right now it looks like wearing the LSU uniform is the only standard.

Not true. I work in an organization started by LSU alumns. There are a ton of alumns from both LSU and A&M working here, and both groups are awesome. There is a lot of good natured teasing going back and forth, but it’s all been in fun.

Remember when the Rant turned on one of the most beloved tigers the honeybadger and took up for Tom Brady of all people? Didn’t know exactly what was said or anything, just jumped on Tom Brady’s side. Honeybadger gave us some of our best memories of this program and you choosing to side with Brady showed me a lot about this fan base.

Well said. I love LSU but this state is a mess and there is definitely a culture problem here on many levels.

Wade was fired because Woody didn't like him, period. He open criticized facilities and lack of support. The NOA was just an excuse to fire him without buying him out.

McMahon is a disaster. Just because he's clean cut and monotone doesn't make him "professional."

Guess the LSU basketball "standard" is don't rock the boat, we don't care how many games you win. According to your standard, Trent Johnson should still be the coach at LSU.

Angel Reese isn’t from Louisiana. She is from Baltimore, Maryland.

Quick search shows there is very little if anyone from Louisiana on that team minus Mulkey the coach.

Look at the people in LA and who attend LSU. A lot of low class ignoramuses. It is a serious drag on the brand. No one in "leadership" in LA cares a whit about university academics because the substrate that attends it has very limited capacity. They are dependent on the state because that is the way the State wants it.

I’m okay with a culture problem that wins championships. To compare us to an Aggie culture that wins absolutely nothing is a bad comparison. Give me some of your drugs please cuz baby you must be high as hell to think that Mulkey has a culture problem. The only problem, and the only thing she’s concerned about is trying to gel 7 new players. Btw that includes the best women’s player we’ve seen yet. Mikaylah Williams.
