In year three, Will Wade managed to get himself suspended, eventually fired, and buried LSU basketball for years.

Whatever you do, don’t look at the loss to Nicholls in November. That’s the so called JuCo team McNeese hammered by +\- 20 in its conference tournament final last night to go 30-3 and punch its NCAA ticket.

If I never see Will Wade’s name on here again it will be too soon.

You guys are acting like Scott fired Phil Jackson. Will Wade has been gone for a long time now. He is a decent coach that no major power 5 program wanted to touch with a ten foot pole. Nothing more. If it wasn't true, he would either still be here, or coaching somewhere better than McNeese.

Matt McMahon has done a terrific job rebuilding this program from absolutely nothing. He is proving to be a good coach. How about supporting him?

I love Will Wade. Wish he were still here. But he isn’t. The folks that want to compare what Wade is doing at Mcneese to what CMM came into with this LSU job need a reality check. CMM won 30 games at Murray St like five minutes ago first of all, in a much much tougher league than Mcneese plays in. He came to LsU with no team, no coaches, no support with the promise of NCAA sanctions looming (the fact he even accepted this challenge says a lot). Last season was a complete throw away. This season he has gone 500 in probably the toughest league top to bottom in college basketball and half the fanbase thinks he should be fired for it. I 100% agree that he needs to add some pieces this offseason to further improve the program, and that is where we all still have questions. But the word fired at this point is ridiculous.
