SW background in hiring coaches is flash and big whales so who would that be? Walton, White, Gajewski,, Tarr, Young, Lonnie, Deifel I would start there…won’t matter unless you get rid of the kids that are more concerned with themselves and where they gonna play in the summer and awards instead of how can I help the team get to okc….this group will be the worse class in Beth Torina career and it’s not close

You keep saying this, and no matter how many times you say it, it will be wrong. What proof or knowledge do you have that this is the case?

You can't answer a question with a question.

What makes you think the players care only about awards? What awards are they chasing? And on a team full of seniors who are done after this year, who would be concerned about where they are playing summer ball?

We have just as many WCWS appearances as you do and won your regional last year.

I can do whatever I want to do …tell me this why since 17 they have faded and it has accelerated recently…please explain that to me. Also, when a travel ball coach that has sent multiple kids to LSU tells me it’s bad around there, is he wrong? He doesn’t refer his best kids there, why not? Why hire a hitting coach who had calls from nearly half the SEC and have him according to Torina coach defense? Addressing your questions I will let you figure that out..take care!

Just a suggestion, I wouldn't put much worth on what the old Patriot coaches say. May be disgruntled because only 1 of their kids ever made anything of themselves at LSU.
Now if you want to gripe about what you see, then go for it, but he says, she says sometimes makes people look bad.

All very true but this person coaches 1 of the best travel teams in America today. As far as what I see, this team plays emotionless, no fire or competitiveness that’s what comes through on tv. I have no clue why that’s why ask ppl that have somewhat of a vested interest. All could be way off base on reasons why but 1 thing is undeniable, LSU softball has faded late in the yr recently

LSU vs UL 13-13

LSU
6 WCWS
9 Super
24 Tourney

UL
6 WCWS
8 Super
32 Tourney

I'd say that is a strong rivalry.

The current group has been good, but lacks a consistent big hitter. It's not staff complacency, it's not awards, it's not Beth's children, or all of the other stupid shite posted here. This group lacks a slugger, plain and simple.

There's no Bianca Bell, no Janquish. LSU's never had a ton of them, but they've had one on their successful teams. They don't have any now and haven't had any.

Pleasants. Now 10 hits in 21 SEC games. Hitting .152. Three years ago she was an all American. What happened? I see a lot of fifth year players who should never have come back. They just seem tired and ready to get on with their lives.

Arkansas coming in this weekend ought to be interesting. Our lofty RPI would take a hit if we lose another series at home. I am not expecting much from this team the rest of the season. Since opening 24-0 we have gone 11-11. We are what our record says it is over the last 22..........average.

Of course we apparently lost a key player in Danieca Coffey and that has greatly contributed to our recent mundane performance.

Also, why does Hannah Carson not catch any more games. Is her knee preventing her from crouching behind the plate. She is a better hitter and just as good defensively than Bergeron, IMO, and should be playing more unless she is injured

If history is any indication they will lose 2/3, I think they are more likely to get swept than sweep Arkansas..

Carson is 1 for her last 23 at the plate.

Bergeron is hitting .305 in SEC games.

Seems simple enough to me.

Doubtful. Arkansas has a top 15 RPI. We've lost 2 home series to teams worse than Arkansas already.

Evidently Beth has seen enough with Carson's last 23 ab's then. You obviously follow more then me and I must suck

Pulling for LSU to sweep then. RPI ought to be golden.

If we get swept RPI might only drop to a shade of bronze, but our SEC standing and Conference Tourney seed will plummet
