....had one AB (a single) in the second game, and was 4 for 6 in the third game.

We need to recruit more kids out of New Mexico.

Hopefully someone lets JJ know. I don't think he's known for keeping up with the best HS recruits and transfer portal guys.

Bregman was a bigger prospect. He was 12 years ago but that wasn’t multiple decades.

I think the USA is too small an area for Jay. Jay needs to crank it up a notch and start going international.

Milam told an interesting story about how Jay Johnson recruited him to Arizona and they butted heads. I thought that was an interesting choice of words to describe it.

He said he always wanted to come to LSU.

I think he was just making light of turning Johnson down to commit here.

One thing I noticed during the games at Minute Maid was the amount of out of state recruiting for LSU vs Texas and ULL. The majority of their starting rosters were all in-state kids where as LSU had a coast to coast reach with some Louisiana kids mixed in. 8 of our starters including the starting pitcher were out of state. Seems like something special LSU is able to pull off.
