Texas LSU License Plates

Texas now has a new license plate option for people in the Lone Star state that want to show their support for LSU. While the standard white Tiger Eye plate will remain available, this is a new purple option.
In the pre-order stage right now but will go to print once 200 pre-orders are completed. I just ordered mine!

Damn. Just traded in Toonces for the Tiger eye for my new truck. Just my luck.
Note: LSU was the very first non-Texas college to get there own plate in this state. Thanks to the alumni clubs in Dallas and Houston. Texas opened it up to other non-Texas schools afterwards when they saw how popular/profitable it was.

I think LSU is only able to make the plates if the state touches Louisiana, as long as the bordering state agrees to make them, something along those lines
