That first inning at the plate was a synopsis of this Tiger season so far.

I don't know of any baseball manager at any level that would put a .250 hitter, with a .129 average with RISP in the 5th batting slot, especially against a LH pitcher. Seems very odd to me

It's called trying to get a guy (who you know is better than what he has produced) going in a midweek game by surrounding him with power hitters so he will get good pitches to hit.
