Golden Girls should have come down to the field, to crowd surf with Trey Quinn?

Not playing Neck after TD was stupid. The band blows this year.

And as long as they have the same piece of shite running it as they do now, that's all we can look forward to.

Should have played neck with everyone on the field. Screw whatever is keeping them from playing it. That was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Agreed. I don't think the band members understand the power they have. Just fricking play that shite when you have a great opportunity like that. What's gonna happen? They're going to revoke hundreds of scholarships and not have a band anymore? No.

How often do you get the chance to play the alma mater with the student section on the field to sing with the team? It's never been done.

Yeah that was pretty disappointing.

I kind of wish they would have played Neck in the last two minutes.

You mean "Suck That Tiger Dick Bitch"?
That's the name of the song when they play it at LSU.

I'm told by an insider the band was instructed by LSU to shut it down.

I made my way over by the band after the game. I asked a guy that was with the band (not a band member) when they were going to play the alma mater, and he told me they weren't playing it that they were trying to get everyone to leave the stadium. So I told him everyone is waiting for them to play it then they will leave. He said they aren't playing it, so I stood around a little longer. After about 10 minutes or so , the band decided to sing it. After they finished singing, everyone standing around me left, and so did I.

Clearly, lsu officials did not want the band to play while the students were on the field.

Well, they did.

Playing the Alma Mater would have led everyone to leave. Basically saying "Keep partying but you can't stay here"

The band plays one verse with the team if they win and sings the whole song last before leaving the stadium.
