There is nothing wrong or concerning going 2-1 against a bad team

That happens to great teams
What is very concerning is averaging 4 runs a game against an awful pitching team. This team isn’t going to do anything like that.

The hole we put ourselves in the first 5 weekends doesn’t give us the luxury of going 4-2 against the worst two teams in the league being enough. We’re trying to make the postseason at this point, not simply win series

The fact we're only averaging 4 runs and home runs are our only offense in most of our games is what's most troubling. Jay hasn't figured out what to do with the lineup order all year. We have to manufacture runs at this point.

If they hadn’t started off 3-12 in the first 5 series, I’d be inclined to agree with you.
But they did. And the two previous opponents needed to be swept in order to keep any semblance of hope alive. I don’t know if it’s lack of talent, or Jay believing his own press from last year and outcoaching himself or a combination of the two. But this just isn’t the year.

Auburn was 0-11 on the road in the SEC. You don't want to be the 1st.

Stop expecting this team to do things that they are not capable of doing, and you'll have more fun.
The future is bright with the young talent we have on the roster. I'm just going to enjoy watching them develop.

top 5 of LSU batting order went 2-19 today...that is concerning
