This is easy money. Get your bets in on JD.

The Heisman is now a socio-political and popularity pageant! Numbers don't lie, people, their lying eyes, and the media does!

That’s the problem. Most of the voters catch highlights and look at final scores. We have 3 losses.

It's all just a best players on the best teams award. Oh look Ohio St is undefeated we have to find a Heisman candidate from their team. Unfortunately it's just what the award has become and often doesn't go to the actual best player in the country.

It's just assumed that the best player in the country couldn't possibly play on a team that loses games. Which obviously we know that's simply not true.

Timely drives at end didn’t get it done

OM loss may cost JD a Heisman.
The game we scored 50 in? No, it was the 2H vs FSU that cost him

Harrison would be the 3rd best WR on LSU's team. Those rankings are unsurprisingly moronic.

True, if it’s the favorite team. But, Paul Hornung won it in 1956, playing as the “Golden Boy” at Notre Dame with a 2-8 record.

SPOT ON assessment from Chris Hummer with 247:

"I don’t know if Jayden Daniels won the Heisman on Saturday night in a 52-35 win over Florida (5-5), but he couldn’t have made a more emphatic statement. Daniels finished the night with 372 yards passing, 234 yards rushing and 5 total touchdowns. He’s the only FBS quarterback since 2000 to throw for at least 350 passing yards and rush for 200 yards in a single game, according to Sports Reference data.

No player is playing better in college football than Daniels right now.

It’s easy to dismiss him from the Heisman conversations because LSU sits at just 7-3 overall, but sometimes a player transcends his team’s record. Lamar Jackson won a Heisman in 2016 when his team lost three games. Robert Griffin did the same at Baylor in 2011. In fact, let’s compare Daniels’ production through 10 games to how those QBs did in their full 13 game seasons:

Daniels: 3,164 yards, 30 TDs, 4 INTs, 72.5 CMP% | 918 yards rushing, 8 TDs, 8.1 ypc

Jackson: 3,543 yards, 30 TDs, 9 INTs, 56.2 CMP% | 1,601 yards rushing, 18 TDs, 6.9 ypc

Griffin: 4,293 yards, 37 TDs, 6 INTs, 72.4 CMP% | 699 yards rushing, 10 TDs, 3.9 ypc

And if you’re one of those people who thinks three losses should disqualify Daniels from consideration, I’d just ask: Does Daniels play defense? Because the Tigers surrendered an average of 47 points per game in their losses this year.

Daniels is having one of the best seasons of any quarterback in modern history. He should be considered the Heisman frontrunner."

Heisman is an individual award. The team results should have no bearing.

I get it, it didn’t get done though. There was also 2 possessions prior that were 3 and 4 play punt possessions.

The simple question for the Heisman committee is, "Is there a player better, more dynamic and more impactful than JD has been this year?"

We all know the answer.

So depending on the book, JD didn’t gain anything or lost traction after last night’s performance. Oh, ok.

NCAA hates LSU now for stealing the coach from their darling Notre Dame. They will never allow them to win anything unless it’s an absolute rout like 19.

Daniels wasn't even listed as an option to bet at most books before the Florida game
