And we’re not even gonna touch the portal, right? Jay never does that.

If we don’t make the postseason, silver lining is more time to recruit the portal. See Arkansas, A&M, Miss State, FSU, Clemson this season.

Braswell on D and all of our catchers defense has to be a pretty big shocker.

Also Bingham being so bad on D at this point in his career and didn’t bring as much as we thought to the plate.

Just like Neal Kling and Travinksi at the plate

Then we have Hurd and Loer from our pitching staff

As of today Kling is batting .176 with .328 OBP in SEC play. How does he see the field? I’ve heard that players are pissed because regardless of how he plays he’s constantly in the lineup while Jay holds others accountable. I could care less what the stats are in non SEC games.

Yea playing a week longer than everyone else probably set us back even with our title and our name. Others were in contact with guys before us. I’m not sure how you combat that considering you only have so many hours in a day and a very limited staff. Maybe we have a “unpaid” guy on staff to do that.

So who is the guy hitting way better than that, that can also play center? That answers why kling keeps playing

Bingham comes to mind batting .227 in SEC not great but better than .176

Brown is what like .050 in sec play? Fray has been hurt and hasn’t done much.

Bingham can’t field grounders in the outfield

Hi Rudy

Considering Rudy appears to be in timeout, and that account has 8 posts since 2015 (first one in a year being today) I think you may have cracked the code.

Live by the portal, die by the portal.

Focus on developing your young talent, which keeps young guys around longer and increases depth. Not to mention it helps enhance the TEAM culture. Grabbing at mercenaries every year discourages young talent and never develops a meaningful team culture, and you have years like this one more often.

Kling and Pearson’s leash was way way too long
in some games.

In your opinion, who would replace them. Pearson has not had the season we expected but he had some key hits that kept us in competition.

It looks like jay did everything he could to figure out the OF

Larson got 19 SEc Starts
Bingham got 18
Kling got 18
Pearson got 22
Brown got 6

We were begging some guys to take the reigns and only Larson did.

Pearson is a clutch PH. I like him in that role
For Travinski to not start yesterday really had me confused. Him, Jones and Tanks should be in the order 2-3-4 or 3-4-5 every single game.

Jay thought he could teach 3/4 of our offensive players to hit for average in one offseason. It didn't happen.

Put too much faith in Hurd, Kling, and Neal

Season looks a lot different if those 3 wouldve stepped up
