I got blasted last night
I want to win
But when you accept reality that we aren’t a good team it becomes much easier
Something is missing overall from this team.
Making the sec tournament should be the goal at this point

Timely hitting….inexperience, & inexperience on the mound. Equals giving up cheap runs, and leaving a ton of runners on base.

It’s a grind but we have 9 games to get 6 wins to have a chance at post season.

Everyone knows we suck.

But we’re still gonna watch the games and hope for the best. Make no mistake, everyone on here knows this LSU team isn’t very good.

no leader by example
i was hopi g Tommy Tanks was going up be that guy, but he has delivered little in critical times. He'll hit you a solo homer though.

This team has a lot of talent, but they are lacking someone who can and will take the team on their back, at critical moments.

You've had a few guys flash, but no consistent leader, who can get it done, always.

I agree. I expected him to be the crunch time leader.

He has played pretty well overall. Solid field play, has a good average and good power, but in crunch time it just hasnt happened.

I'm no expert, but seems like maybe he is chasing pitches trying to get the big hit, and ends up striking out.

Thatcher Hurd not performing good enough to be a starter is the missing piece

The team isn’t bad. The margins for error in the SEC are just razor thin.

They would have a decent chance of advancing in any regional and would likely lose 0-2 in a Super.

Unfortunately, they have a steep hill to climb before they even get that chance.
