Are you new around here. It’s the TD the sky falls moment to moment. You have to filter to reasonable posters of you’re on here during any game but especially baseball.

I'd take 5-10 at this point. If we leave Arkansas at 3-6 you have to call that a win.

Are you new here?

They gave up last year, too.

I never gave up last year and I always expected the pitching to get better and it did. By the playoffs even Saturdays and Sundays were winnable. But we were not living off of freshman hitters. We have no choice but to hope they grow up and produce. Kling is a Sophomore and really hurts but he watched a lot last year. Fingers crossed. The offense and Defense has to take the pressure off the pitching.

keep thinking about last season how sorry all our pitchers - EXCEPT Skenes - were performing

I don’t know why people think Ty Floyd didn’t pitch well all year.
He might have had a bad game or 2, but it’s not like it was some surprise that Floyd turned out to be good at the end. Floyd was one of the best pitchers in all of college baseball most of the year.

You can't talk baseball on here these days. The bad football posters came over. They know more baseball than Jay.

That's an impossible standard to hold someone to.

Yeah, but under Manure we were missing from Omaha way too often, whereas a Stanford for example was making it most seasons. I think JJ can get us there most seasons. I see some Skip in him.

I definitely remember all the bitching here. I was chiming in pissing and moaning too. The pitching after Skenes was dreadful. Then they flipped a switch in Omaha. Hell I’m still shocked we won that whole damn thing. Hell Skip’s ‘96 team had issues too. Then they flipped a switch in Omaha. I see JJ as the next Skip.

But wasn’t Manure’s 2008 club really sorry until like half way through the sec 30 and then flipped a switch and all the way to Omaha? I’ve learned to never count these boys out!

Yes. We should not count out this years team because of what the 2008 team did.

Because our “fans” are whiny bitches who give up at the first sign of trouble. That’s why they’re so unsuccessful in life. They try to live vicariously through LSU sports team success but when the team doesn’t win then these pieces of shite have no joy in their lives. 85% if the posters on this site are miserable human beings.

It blows my mind how posters from Baseball powerhouse school like LSU can know so Little. This is baseball, teams get hot, all it takes is a series or two and we can rip off multiple games in a row. And people who think this team is not talented is delusional. We may not be last years team but Talent is not the problem. Am I saying we are gonna 100% get it together? No, but at least give it some time before we hit the OH shite button. Just get to the post season and we will always have a chance, that should be our focus.

You should know that it's the same shut every year around here. Idiots act like they haven't seen teams improve or implode. Making any final decisions about baseball in March is fricking dumb.

Exactly, how many times have ya seen a team get hot at the end of the year and make a run to the World Series. It happens all the time. All it takes is a little momentum like a big series win to get a team hot. This is a talented team, let’s not write them off until we are mathematically eliminated from post season play.

Where's the offense going to come from? Three people (White, Travinski and Jones) can't do it all.

This is it.

34 runs in SEC play. 16 scored by those three (18 RBI). Notably by HRs (10).

So think about that. Those three were only brought home by someone BESIDES themselves 6 times.

Bingham has 5 RBI (2 HR). The rest of the team has a combined 8 RBI.

Other scary stats: Bradwell has been on base 14 times, but only scored 3 times. Neal/Kling/Milam are a comined 3-50 (all 3 hits courtesy of Milam).

Not giving up. However, I don’t see a repeat happening. I would say my expectation is a 2 seed Road Regional. Would be awesome to make a Regional final. Making a Super would surprise me.
