Your definition of idle is because you have no clue what’s going on in the program and it irritates you LSU isn’t making splashy headlines.

Your entitlement is blinding you from reality.

We’re not in a position to start hiring mercenaries for next season nor has that proven to always work. I think we’ll lose 2-3 more to the portal and then 5 or so in the spring when CBK tells them to look elsewhere to open scholarships for positions of need.

Relatively few transfers leaving, no signing day drama, only 1 or 2 opt outs for the bowl game.

If you are paying attention, this is not the norm in today’s college football. That’s a sign of a good culture and someone in control of the program.

He said last year he ideally wants to build the team thru recruiting
They missed bad in portal this past year and it showed on defense
House is getting all the blame but the defense was not that bad in 2022
He went whole year without dline coach
I would like to see a new db coach and if Lindsay is moved off field you will need new dl coach
Who knows maybe house goes back to nfl

We've lost les players to the portal than most schools. And the ones in the playoffs will likely lose some after the season is over.

There is usually shakeup around the country after Spring practices and the next Transfer window opens. The coaches have a better idea of what holes they still need to fill after Bowl and Spring practices.

Guys can develop a great deal during those practices and you can get an idea if an early enrollee is going to be able to play as a freshman or if you need to get someone from the portal to plug a hole.

Don't forget that Burrow didn't transfer in until after losing the job at OSU that Spring and our QB's looking lackluster in Spring camp.

Finally a grown arse man answered.Thank you!

If everyone thinks we're set with the team we have and that defense last year they better be happy 6-6 because Jayden is not here anymore

Idle? You have no idea what he is or isn't doing.

We have to figure out how to offload multiple players to reach the scholarship limit of 85 so expect to lose more than we gain out of necessity.

Bro what? People that aren’t starting are leaving the program, we actually have to lose more players to stay under the 85 man limit, plus we added a stud returner/ WR, a veteran QB with SEC experience, and a stud day 1 starting safety. I’m not sure how you can be upset with what he’s doing

LSU has every projected starter returning, depth at every position, and has locked down recruiting in LA. Roster management has been excellent.

That means we need another 5 players to leave just to get to even and then will still have to swap one for one to bring new players in.

This is what is lost on people. There is not a whole lot of fat left to trim. It’s not like the last couple years where you have 15 spots left to fill after signing day.

CBK is like a duck. Calm and cool on the surface, but you can bet your arse he's working psychoticlly under the surface.
