Thats cool. My only note is thats the first race of playoffs which I thought they didn’t allow non regulars to race in playoffs so a contenders race isn’t potentially compromised.

Who are y'all watching this weekend? I think Allmendinger and Van Gisbergen will be players. Not sure if they'll be fighting for the win, but I would not be shocked to see them both up there late in the going.

Elliott, Chastain, Reddick, Buescher and Larson are my top 5 potential winners (not on order just top5). But I think Bell, AJ and Gibbs could crack the win column too.

Bowman has been good there the last two years. McDowell too may be a player given Front Row's uptick in speed. Cindric has top tens in last two years as well.

That's good. All I've seen on Tik Tok is how bad the crowd was in person. I wasn't able to watch the race so I'm not sure if it filled up but the videos I saw showed it looking less than half full at the start.

It didn’t fill up. It was probably 50% full, maybe a little more. Honestly, Bristol needs to remove seating, but I’m not sure that’s possible with how it is currently built.

If they can keep replicating the race from last week it will fill back up within a few years. Used to be the hardest ticket to get

ARCA brakes made an appearance in turn 1 on the first lap of the truck race at COTA.

In qualifying Chase was 4th to move on to top 10. No one was going to knock him out on more used tires. Yet Gus had him go back out at the end and sure enough no one knocked him out. But then in final qualifying his tires were worn out so he got 9th. Plus his car and tires were heated from late group 2 run.
That was dumb by Gus. At worst if he did get knocked out he starts 11th. But had he not wasted a run he could have got top 5. Bad decision making there, not looking at bigger picture. Strange too, with so many engineers and even fans know its a big track and one more lap on tires takes the goody out of them.

Man, both races ended with late cautions and overtime. Taylor Gray got 2nd in trucks. He had a win last year and was taken out on purpose last lap. Only 18.
And the Xfinity race was great. SVG and Hill got into a banging contest and let Larson win. I thought it was fair banging. Hill pushed SVG in first corner of 2 lap OT and in 2nd lap SVG pushed Hill wide and Larson passed both as they got wide. None wrecked the other just good payback by SVG, which I agreed with. Then after race SVG got a 30 sec penalty for going outside some corner lines so instead of 2nd he was way down list. Nascar was crap in how they officiated that, not consistent.
But some good races.
