No time for marriage proposals when this guy is lurking

I love the outfielder's reaction as well

The tackle, or the guy being on the field of play in the middle of the game?

I'll never understand it. Same with going on stage during the middle of concerts or any other stage performances. You're a fan/spectator. You have designated areas to be in. The field/court/stage is not where it is, that's where the performers/players should be in. Not you, the fan.

I can forgive field/court rushes since the games have concluded, and if a band prompts fans to come on the stage while they're playing then that's fine because they're giving you permission. But other than that, stay your arse in the crowd and stop entering the field of play.

You don’t have to attack a person that is not running around being a threat that’s the bottom line.
No excuse trying and put them in a Hospital.

This guy got decked too

And he wasn't running around either. But the fact is, you go on the field unprompted, you're willingly accepting that you're probably going to be tackled by security. Because that's what happens when you do that without being prompted. Maybe if he had talked with the organization beforehand and staged it, maybe they could have set something up in between innings and it would have all been above board. They do that shite all the time with the scoreboard, maybe they'd have let him do something special if he had just asked. But no he went rogue and took it into his own hands. No sympathy after that.

Like what is the thought process behind this guy going onto the field unknowingly to everyone else while a game is going on? "Everyone is just going be swayed by the power of the love I feel to this chick nobody else in the stadium knows that I'm proposing to that they'll just all sit back and go 'aaaaaaw' and everything is going to be ok and everyone will know what a Casanova I am"

This isn't the set of Anger Management

This is one of those things where you can say the security guard was technically not at fault because of all the reasons you mentioned while anyone with a brain can also acknowledge that he’s a fvcking psycho who went way overboard

Baseball fields aren’t prized fvcking relics. He wasn’t pissing on the Vatican. The dude was proposing at a baseball game, and some roided up security guy channeled all of his former high school benchwarmer football dreams and speared the dude

Grow a fvcking brain and chill the fvck out dude. Wtf is wrong with people these days? Everyone needs to take a deep breath about everything these days

He shouldn't have been on the field, but I wish he would have ducked and taken Barney Fife out at the knees.

I thought for a second it might be staged with how well the music transitioned during all of that, especially to that song

Security guard reliving his HS football days for sure. He finally got to live out his dream of making a game changing tackle in a professional game.

I would say it’s at least as a-hole-ish to think your life is so important that you get to interrupt a game that hundreds of thousands of people are watching so you can propose to your girlfriend.

They cancel out IMO.
