My post in the previous game thread set the O/U for runs scored against Teheran tonight at 6.5. Pussy arse Mets took him out too soon

3 at the very least. He accidentally let this slip in an interview several years ago when talking about facing Octavio Dotel when they were both younger.

That was an awesome interview with Dusty Baker. He has some great stories and insight.

I’m fully convinced Ronnie is slumping because of Wiley Ballard’s employment

Walking 8 and 9 in the lineup is always infuriating

I’m on board with that.

I’m really concerned about the starting pitching. No Strider, Fried looks like arse, and Morton is old and probably doesn’t have many 5+ inning dominant outings left in him.

Good thing we might have the best lineup and bullpen in baseball I guess.

That was some severe BS to Ozuna. Angel Hernandez level stupidity.

Me too. I think Fried will be fine, but holy shite he has been bad. Was not great in spring either. If we get 30 starts/170 innings from Charlie, I'll be happy with that.

Lopez and (hopefully) Sale are going to throw way more innings this season than they have in a long time.

And wtf was that third strike call to Ozuna? That pitch was almost in the dirt. That call was bad enough to demote an umpire, but the fricking union does not allow MLB to do what needs to be done.

I would LOVE to see MLB fire all umpires who are part of the union and make them reapply for their jobs. How they get to hide from scrutiny and how none of them will ever speak out against shitbags like Angel Hernandez is absolutely bewildering to me.

We’ve had the worst strike and ball called this season

He doesn't have to be dominant. Just get us into the 6th more times than not and still be in the game like tonight.

It's too early to worry about the pitching.

I really hate Brandon Nimmo.

Another umpire ruining the game by a call that wasn’t even close to being an understandable strike call. They are horrific night in and night out

Have we had a starter get is through six yet this season?

Did Charlie get that far against the White Sox?

When your number 1 goes on the shelf with elbow problems and may be facing TJ surgery, it’s not too early for me to start worrying.
