I’m curious what makes living in Orlando as a young star so hard? I know it’s not a major media market but it sure is better then a lot of other places around the league where young stars have stayed.

Banchero is a beast.

Wagner brothers have to play well.

It's hard to be a young NBA star playing in Orlando. I totally understand why players want to leave as soon as their contract expires.

How so? No state income tax, great weather, lots of poon with plenty of variety.

I’ve been to Orlando and yes I wouldn’t want to live there but I would prefer it over many places around the league that I consider worse places to live that have managed to hold onto their young players at least through their second contract. Bad and cheap front office decisions have been the main issues with the Magic since they came into the league

It's a very boring town these days. It's nothing like it used to be 10-15 years ago. The local politicians have just destroyed the place. They are killing off all nightlife... downtown has turned into a homeless, zombie, crime infested shithole, everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is woke and promotes BLM, LGBTQBlablabla

If I am a young NBA millionaire, Orlando would not be a very exciting place to live. It's just become a very cheesy town compared to a lot of the bigger NBA cities

I have. Outside of Miami and Dallas, I can’t think of a better city to be a NBA player in.

What is it lacking that a young single professional athlete would want?

And just in complete Magic fashion...cheese sliding completely off the cracker to end the season.

Real possibility these goobers finish with a play-in spot.

Ashame that their season isn't the talk of the sport because NBA talking heads spend 95% of the time on the same 5 teams. Magic aren't even getting the shine the Kings got last year.

to be fair they’ve only won maybe 15 games against winning teams.

This is a great win for Orlando. After being down 0-2, and being down 10 at one point in this game. This is a huge statement win.
