Simmons is correct, Daniels played at 185-190 at LSU.

Can't tell me Lamar is that much more when he was drafted

Lamar was 216

Jayden is 210

But Jayden Daniels doesn’t avoid contact like Lamar.

That is why you see so many RG3 comparisons.

Exactly. Jayden is a Lamar that can beat you passing.

I stopped reading right here. If the Falcons hadn't signed Cousins, I wanted them to go big and move up to try and get Daniels. I think he's the best QB in this draft.

That’s true but defensive players were actually allowed to punish the QB back then.

If he goes to Washington I'll buy his jersey... as soon as they change names, that is. Commanders is straight trash

Oh, dear.

Look at the rushing stats in college. Lamar was wayyyy better of a runner than Jayden. They're different kinds of players.

Jayden isn’t quite the runner Lamar is, true but he’s going to be more of a dangerous dual threat because of his better passing ability. Jayden’s 8.4 ypc while rushing for over 1000 yards says hey by the way.

I think he was too skinny in 22/23 season. This past year he looked much better. He'll continue to fill out, but he'll always be lean. He's also FAST.

No, although every great running QB in college has to adapt to NFL and learn to be smarter about protecting themselves.

Drew Brees ran for over 500 yards in one year at Purdue.
