Unless you think post Lebron Lakers with AD as the guy are gonna be a contender, which is nuts, IMO

and i feel the same way about the pels ever hoping they will get a healthy run out of zions body

i guess both of our franchises are unfortunately chained to top players they ultimately wont be able to count on

I haven’t been watching, but I feel like Hachimura has got to get more than 2 boards in this game if he’s playing 28 mins.

I know you do. That’s probably fair at this point

One could put together a pretty hilarious reel of Lebron watching people score without offering any help defense.

At this point, he just needs to play solid defense which has been lackluster this year.

A challenge? I guess you can’t carry it into game 4.

Lakers kinda stumbled arse backwards into a WCF last year and had to double down on that core even though most knew it was fools gold

They didn’t have a ton of other options, though.

I think they would’ve beaten every team in the west except Denver and Minnesota, to be fair

The Nuggets are just so freaking good. The more I watch them the more I become a fan. They have the best starting 5 in the entire league. There is no weak point. All the Lakers have is LeBron and AD. That's a great duo, easily one of the best in the NBA. But the rest of the roster around them is just weak. Perhaps if this was a 31 year old Prime LeBron, they would have a much better chance. But as it stands now the Lakers never had a prayer of winning this series.

Agreed. Their execution in nut crunching time in a tight game is what amazes me. Last year seeing them out-execute a Lebron led team all four games late with the game in the balance was an eye opener. Like you just assume at worst the Lakers pull a couple of those out because of Lebron and/or AD. And it’s been the same thing this series.

Gotta say Reeves has singlehandedly dragged this game out. He hasn't quit.

They didn't know what to do when they realized you couldn't free throw your way to a championship. You actually have to play basketball at some point.

Lakers were legit last year and to a degree this year considering their seeding both years. Last year AD was too physically imposing against both MEM (with their injuries and lack of size) and then the Warriors with their lack of size. Rui was also in a heater.

Similar thoughts I think they beat everyone minus Minnesota and Denver this year. OKC would make them sweat it out in a 7 game series.

jokic is the only player in the league who can actually be considered a mismatch over AD

thats the biggest reason the lakers have and will continue to struggle against them

Everyone struggles against Jokic. He is the best basketball player on the planet.

Lebron was 1/6 from 3 PT tonight.

If you go back to the BRICK in Game 2 (not sure if anyone remembers it), LeBron is 1/7 in his last seven 3 PT attempts.
