Not so sure. His work ethic is legendary, high business acumen, etc. people like that typically are successful no matter what they do.

Your argument for LeBron being highly educated is one of the greatest things I’ve ever read on the internet

Warren buffets words not mines. And he is clearly a hard worker. People with great Work ethics find success in life. it overcomes a lot
Of short comings.

I am not so sure about that. Warren Buffett says he has excellent business acumen. Assuredly HE woulda found something to do to make money and contribute.

Lebron has enough money from playing basketball that he has people he pays that tell him where to invest his money. That's not having a high business acumen. That's being rich enough to pay someone else that does.

Seriously if Lebron didn't play a game for a living he would be the same oppressed victim like the 99% from his community.

Dude lives in an alternate reality. Everything has been easy for him since his early teenage years. Dude didn't even graduate high school.

hiring the right people is business acumen. The guy has had sharks in the water arojnd him his whole life and manages to pick the right people. that is business acumen. From warren:

quote:

"We had a good time, and since that day, I've been impressed with his leadership skills, his sharp mind and his ability to stay grounded," Buffet writes. "People in LeBron's position get tugged in different directions and have a lot of chances to make bad decisions. He's kept his head, and that's not easy." It's not the first time Buffett has complimented his friend. He told USA Today that James has a "money mind" and praised his business savvy to Cleveland.com. "He's smart about business, but he's just a smart guy," Buffett said. "I noticed that the first time I met him... And you know he doesn't miss anything."

I have never been a labron fan, I think his off-court persona is totally an attempted PR creation, even the book reading is so transpatent

people around him since HS knew he had talent,, they crafted the image to sell shoes

he's a spoiled illiterate attention-seeking punk

but there are worse

So hiring highly recommended agents and/or wealth advisors with good reputations is now having good business acumen? I don't think Lebron is a complete moron as a human being, but I do think he spouts off ignorant bullshite all the time and is uneducated about the topics on which he stands on a soapbox and preaches. And this shite just slays me every time I see it. Lerbon wants everyone to think that he is well read and informed and makes certain to be seen reading books all the tine, yet he's somehow always on the first page

Facts plus the fiduciary business is way more regulated now than then, back in the 60s and 70s athlete agents were complete corrupt scumbags, don't get me wrong some now are too but it was sooooooo bad then

Here is the thing. I have never cared for lebrons Personality at all, but that doesn’t stop me from recognizing that he has an immense work ethic, legendary IQ, and great business acumen. Just bc I don’t care for someone doesn’t make them an idiot. I know plenty of people who didn’t go to college, and are idiots about politics, who have become very wealthy due to hard work and business acumen as small business owners. Lebron is that on steroids.

he has a good work ethic. I won't take that away from him, A legendary IQ? GTFO. Great business acumen? Meh

Lebron being good at basketball and being signed by Nike as an 18 year old would make him a billionaire eventually. Him being a silent investor in a lot of things doesn't require a lot of nuerons. It just requires capital. He has plenty of that solely from dribbling a basketball. I never said he was intellectually stupid, but you're giving him far too much credit. Lebron has never created anything profitbale and has never been the head guy in charge of any business. He has a lot of money and has other people tell him how to spend it. People with high acumen tell others how to spend it or make those decisions themselves

I have always read from people around him that he has a really high IQ. I will go with the people who know him and are around him every day over my opinion being someone who has never met him. i don’t know the guy, so have to defer to those who know him well.

Same thing with his business sense.
