You're one of the good ones. I wish more Saints fans were like this.

So did the Falcons sign him for a day? Are you able to just say " i want to retire as a falcon"?

I kept hoping this would happen but not sure if i should give the front office props or not.

He should be a first ballot HoF'er but he probably won't be.

Dude is underappreciated AF
Hall of Above Average

He was good, but he was maybe the 7th or 8th best QB most of his career. Being top 25% of starters shouldn’t be HOF worthy.

Great Boston College/ACC QB. Several qualified NFL records. "Above average" is the perfect description. I would agree with a previous poster that I wouldn't be mad if he made the HoF, but it would be lowering the bar, IMO. "Most yards in first 7 years of career.." etc, is notable, not HoF-worthy. It's rewarding consistency, nothing more.

I did finally see this.

Stupid as frick to do what we did the last two years and let a top QB sit in Indy and a broadcast booth. But glad for this news since I respect him.

Naw, dawg, he's going into Canton. Maybe not on the first ballot (he should) but he's getting a gold jacket.

Ryan will likely get into the HOF, but it won’t be on the first try in 5 years.

Agreed.

Especially considering that Tom Brady is going to be on the ballot w/him his first year of eligibility.

They're Saints/LSU fans, not exactly the pillars of football knowledge.

Matt Ryan. He’s better than Rivers and Roethlisberger and both of them are slam dunks to get in.
