Jones. Probably should have left this part out of your post honestly.

Please explain why. Fields wasnt flat out pathetic last year like Jones.

PFF scored Jones with 52.2 and Fields with a 74.6.

1. PFF’s overall grades are trash and they insert their biases in them.

2. Compare their situations.

Of course not

But he ain't all that great, either. He's close to washed.

Then why do you feel we're worse off due to our QB situation?

I just think Russ is done. And I've made my thoughts known on Fields.

I would have been okay w/Tannehill for a year since he already knows Smith's system, draft Penix in the back of the 1st/top of the 2nd, and let's roll.

Also, Smith can not develop young QB's. That much was made clear w/Ridder in Atlanta.

Yeah Pickett may have been a slightly worse talent than Wilson but Wilson has his… issues.

Once they brought in Arthur Smith though, that was a warning. Letting Johnson go and doing nothing to free agency or in the trade market to improve the offense.

I really hope Smith doesn't cost Tomlin his job.

Ya think?

But everyone says Wilson and Fields are the best!

I haven’t kept up with the convo in this thread, but Fields is probably as good as Pickett throwing the ball. Then you add his athletic ability. Then you have the veteran presence of Wilson in the locker room (cheesy or not, he’s a gamer). I love these moves for the Steelers.

If they have the courage to use JF often and aggressively they will make the playoffs.

Sean Payton and Dennis Allen have both been far too conservative with how they've used TayTay Hill for the Saints.

You haven't seen Arthur Smith call plays, have you?

All of this JF nut-hugging when he hasn't done Jack shite in 3 years is nauseating.

He's actually worse.

Plus he has a longatated delivery, holds on to the ball too long b/c he can't go through his reads, and thus, takes too many sacks. And he has 36 fumbles in his career. He also had by far the worst 4th qtr.QBR of any starter in the league.

People keep alluding to this. How does that make him a better or even serviceable QB?

Wilson IS NOT a leader and is all about himself. Why do you think so many of his ex-teammates have come out against him?

Well I don't. They are gonna backfire badly. They'll be lucky to win 8 games next season.

Bringing in another starter from last season shows what the Steelers think about Russel Wilson.

I'm not even gonna agree with this.

What it means is that Tomlin and staff don't know how to judge QB'S.

Maybe. At least Fields has shown flashes of elite talent. Pickett has been dogshit from the jump.

He(Fields)can't play. The numbers have bore that out.

He had more TD passes last season than Kenny has his entire career. And he did it with a worse supporting cast.

You’re a fricking idiot, respectfully.
