If you want long shot on those odds, I like Winnipeg and Nashville

Problem is they will have trouble winning their first round series, but they can go far if they win the first round.

Stars are down 0-2 but still capable of winning with lowest odds they'll ever have.

I don't like betting as long as my team is in the mix, so my advice is probably not good.

Anybody else with advice on who to take?

A friend of mine also said Nashville so I’ll make a small play on them. Prefer to also have a team that is one of the favorites so I can hopefully have someone that will go deep into the playoffs

I listened to him a few times when I could find CBC.

quote:

Bob Cole, the voice of hockey in Canada for a half-century who served as the soundtrack for some of the national sport's biggest moments, has died. He was 90.

Hurricanes up 2-0. Lightning/Panthers tied at 2 halfway through the 2nd period.

Everyone tuning out tonight? Panthers 4th line pounds a loose puck in front of the net for a 4-2 lead.

Anderson with a highlight reel save falling down to preserve the lead.

Sorry to repost this but noticed my first post was the last post on the page so thought it may get more visibility/responses if I posted again. I promise this will be the last time I mention it

My fellow MSB hockey gurus-

Each year I like to pick anywhere between 1-3 teams before the playoffs start to bet on to win the Stanley cup so I have a rooting interest. I love watching playoff hockey but it’s even more exciting when you have a team to root for

I lost track of time this year and didn’t realize playoffs had already started. With that said, considering how the first round series’ have started, give me a good pick or 3 from the current odds please it would be much appreciated

I think I’m gonna pick Nashville but would like 1-2 more favorites to have just to hopefully solidify I’ll have a team that goes deep

Most of the East series are not interesting
The second round will be great though

Thought battle of Florida would be but now it’s over
The individual games are good but damn it’s looking sweep

Where's Fat Bastard when you need him? He's the hockey gambling guru that used to make a cameo here at the start of every playoff.

I think that Florida is better for the price than Carolina. Both are on the verge of sweeping but I think that the Panthers have looked more impressive against a better quality opponent. President's Trophy curse is waiting for the Rangers and I don't think that the revenge angle will be enough for the Bruins. A Panthers - Hurricanes ECF series would be an all out war and I'd absolutely be here for it.

In the West, it pains me to say it but I think that the Golden Knights are insanely overpriced. Logan Thompson still concerns me in goal and Adin Hill is nothing close to last year's playoff form. The one encouraging thing is that their power play seems to have risen from the dead. (Insert comparing Mark Stone from the LTIR joke HERE.) The West is shaping up to be Edmonton's but Colorado should have something to say.

Fearless (likely wrong) Finals prediction: Florida over Colorado in 7.

Shesterkin should have had that. And Kreider immediately answers.

Washington needed an Igor screw up to even be on the board and then give up a SHG 5 seconds into their PP

Rangers Hurricanes better be worth having their two crap first series

Seriously hard hits in Canucks Preds

JT Miller scores on first shot of the game on the PP

I really dislike the power play timer superimposed in the middle of the ice when the timer is already in the score box. There is already too much fake graphics cluttering the ice.

Unless Leafs win tomorrow, East may have four 4/5 game series

While the West as of right now I’d be surprised if any series is shorter than 6 games.

Canucks hang on despite only 12 shots on goal.
