The NHL needs to do a better job spacing out their scheduling

The scheduling has been like that for as long as I can remember. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday has always been a light schedule.

Also, Champions League soccer, NBA Opening Night, college football and Game 7 of the NLCS. All in all, a pretty decent sports day.

VGK with a nice 3rd period comeback to go to 7-0. Shea Theodore scores the winner with 31.5 seconds remaining. Great way to cap a nice sports day.
