Going to be a good couple months in the fight game. Poirier-Gaethje 2 in the Octagon and Spence - Crawford and Canelo - Charlo in the ring. And then there’s the Paul - Diaz farce if that floats your boat.

The ufc 291 card is one of the best cards on paper in a while but its gonna be hard to top ufc 290. Def gonna be better than the boring arse boxing cards.

Jan Blachowicz vs. Alex Pereira, light heavyweights
Bobby Green vs. Tony Ferguson, lightweights
Ikram Aliskerov vs. Paulo Costa, middleweights
Stephen Thompson vs. Michel Pereira, welterweights
Derrick Lewis vs. Marcos Rogerdio de Lia, heavyweights
Kevin Holland vs. Michael Chiesa, welterweights
Matthew Semelsberger vs. Yohan Lainesse, welterweights
Roman Kopylov vs. Claudio Ribeiro, middleweights
CJ Vergara vs. Vinicius Salvador, flyweights
Trevin Giles vs. Gabriel Bonfim, welterweights
Joanne Wood vs. Priscila Cachoeira, women's flyweights

There’s 4-5 Main/Co Main fights there. I didn’t realize how stacked this card was.

UFC LHW champ jamahal hill has relinquished his title due to an achilles injury. 2nd straight guy to give up the title due to injury. This means the winner of the jan vs peireira fight will likely fight for the title probably against jiri. LHW has been a mess for a while now. There is a real shallow pool of legit contenders.

why would you say that? the dude only lost one fight and he had a dislocated elbow during the fight.

he has finished almost every fight and beat one of the toughest dudes to ever do it for the title.

Spence Crawford will destroy ufc 291 in viewership and ratings. make no mistake, a boxing super fight will always out perform mma as boxing is still king of combat sports in America

boxing ppv buys havent been impressive at all as of late.

regardless that still doesnt change the fact that the poirier gaethje fight is guaranteed to be an awesome fight and the spence crawford fight is guaranteed to be a boring decision.

Costa supposedly out of the fight. Talk about a dude that isnt serious about his career.

Roman dolidze will replace him.
