The controversial call has been covered ad nauseum, but to your actual question, Clark started making shots, Iowa cut down on turnovers, and UConn missed a lot of shots. The token black girl for iowa scored a bunch in the paint consistently. Iowa did their best to choke at the end. And yes there were a lot of fouls on UConn but I thought most of them were pretty fairly called.

The illegal screen has the same outcome as if you were to just tackle a player. The defender is illegally removed from defending the shot. You can’t just be ok with an illegal screen at the end of the game. It is beyond ridiculous.

At no point should you be ok with illegal screens being accepted. You might as well play a game of horse as you are saying to let people just illegally get wide open shots.

This isn’t a foul that you say let the play through it. That is just stupid. If you want to let people play more physical on ball defense that is one thing, but you can’t just allow illegal screens. It really messes up the game.
