His last couple of years he shouldn't have been out on the court. He was so slow, there were times he got easy points when the Lakers would get a rebound and hit the fastbreak, passing to Kareem still on the other side of the court.

When he played he could be a whiner. And he comes across as arrogant.

He was the Barry Bonds of the NBA. Not only did he treat the fans poorly, he looked down on the media & always cared less what was written bout him as a result. And as the saying goes, one should never argue with a person who holds a pen...i.e. a writer will always get the last word in. Now, he's upset that no one likes him enough to give him a chance.

He's Cap.

Magic called him Cap.

He was a Captain on and off the court.

I think he's the greatest...but my dad says that he didn''t work hard enough on defense. And he says that lots of times, he didn't even run down court. And that he didn't really try... except during the playoffs.

I remember that. It was his fault that he decided not to have insurance because he thought the premiums were too high and trusted that nothing would happen.

I don't dislike him as a person but I pulled against him his whole career.I always was a fan of his opponent. The Knicks when he was with Milwawkee and then the 76rs when he was with LA.

I think he marched to the beat of his own drummer throughout his career. Not that he did anything wrong,he just didn't act the way they wanted him to.That's why no job offers.jmo

A man has the right to change his name to vatever he vants to change it to. And if a man vants to be called Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, godammit this is a free country, you should respect his vishes, and call the man Kareem Abdul-Jabbar!

His mamma call him Alcindor, imma call him Alcindor.

Then you're a putz. All of you are putzes. They should change the sign outside from My-T-Sharp to 'ze Three Putzes.
