I need to watch Spies Like Us again sometime. Love that movie.

University 4 was the best. Broadmoor had its moments. I still remember seeing Trainspotting there in college.
of course there were some great movies then ….. all of the real creative talent was making films —- not a million good TV shows. Way more of a balance and 2024 was hardly devoid of good offerings.

Wow. I saw Rambo, Goonies, and Back to the Future at the theater. I don't remember them being at the theater around the same time.

I don't remember that but I remember calling them and getting the recording of the movie times.

Definitely the Gonnies or Rambo.

Hello? Did you even movie-phone? A single phone number would give you movie times for all area theaters.
It was worth nothing to those of us who lived in the next parish/county over. Parents weren't usually in the habit of being happy for paying for long distance calls just for finding out what time a movie played (especially when you had a perfectly good paper there on the kitchen table).

Or calling that 800 number and listening to all the options.
