Also Seinfeld totally fine taking the cash from Netflix to be able to add to his Porsche collection but he’s not wrong. TV series are where it’s at for captivating an audience, we love a deeper story and you can only do so much within 2.5 hours for a film.

I guess i'm different. I don't want a deeper story. 2.5 hrs and I'm out. Done.

While movies may not have the same cultural status they once held, according to Seinfeld, the stand-up comedy craft remains valuable.

The stand-up comedian believes stand-up is still valuable? I’m shocked.

I actually liked the show and some of his old standup was pretty solid, but the dude hasn’t been relevant in a long time and instead of just accepting it he’s pulling a Principal Skinner and blaming the young people.

He started that years ago when he quit doing stand up at colleges b/c he couldn't handle that young people no longer liked his act.

So he sets out to prove Hollywood is over.....by directing a film in Hollywood?

which is weird because 1. Seinfeld is pretty funny 2. He isn’t exactly a race based comic. He’s not dave chapelle.

No. He quit because of the social blowback that nitpicked his use of terms like “gay”. Today’s campuses are looking for opportunities to take down traditional entertainers.
