I'm not bitter, just amazed. Like wildcat said, avoiding Seinfeld and it's 4 hour daily blocks of syndication the last 15 years takes dedication...that's a lot of changing channels.

Seinfeld. AD was brilliant for its 2.5 year run and was probably better per episode, but Seinfeld kept quality up over the years.
I don't think AD's style would have held up over a seven year run, so when I look back on it I am actually glad it was shut down in its prime. Lets us all look back wistfully knowing there was never a bad episode.

Seinfeld. AD is good but not close to Seinfeld. Seinfeld is the best sitcom of all time IMO.

Seinfeld, and I say that with both of those shows being in my top 3 of all time.
The biggest knock in AD in a contest like this is the fact that your normal John Q. Public TV watcher can't just sit down and watch an episode and fall in love. It's like LOST in that you almost have to watch every episode in order to pick up on all the running jokes and really relate to the characters.
With Seinfeld every episode can stand alone. Someone who never saw an episode could sit down and watch a Seinfeld and love it, then watch another one a month later and love it too. I feel like people can't do that with AD.
