Just googling to see what I can find of previous tournaments we've done. Some of them are just earlier rounds rather than results based on what I can find:

MWADS - 90s

MWADS - 80s

MWADS - 70s

MWADS - Top 200

Best Action Movie

Best TV Show

Greatest Animated Movie

Greatest Sports Movie

Comic Book Villain

I swear I remember a "Best Villain" one we had (with Vader winning), but I can't find it at all.

Thanks for linking those. My rankings for most of those would be a little different now but pretty steady at the top.

There are others too, but they are on the Classics Board so I can't link them.

MWADS - 2000s

Directors WADS (2012)

Top 50 Comedies WADS

Top 50 Sci-Fi MWADS

Top 100 MWADS (2008)

But no fricking Villain one.

That just gave me some reading material.

Going through the 90's MWADS and I was laughing pretty good just in the first few pages. Found my list and man, if I had to re-rank them, my list would be quite different. I must have just watched Miller's Crossing, and it's a good movie, but it is not my 7th favorite movie from the 90's.

Edit: In my 80's list I have Brazil at #8. I honestly don't remember a single thing about that movie, wtf was I doing putting that on there.

I have Network 17 in the 70s and not in the top 40 all time. I had not seen that in a long time when I watched it on TCM at the beginning of the pandemic and was blown away how timely it seemed 40+ years later. Would be top 5 70s maybe top 10 overall now.

I was thinking about the old Woody Allen debates the other day i couldn’t remember who it was with
