He has his finger firmly on the pulse of pop culture. Looking forward to seeing who plays the Kelce brothers.

Yep. Honestly I might’ve watched it but after spoiling that part I don’t think I want to see it

Hopefully it’s just misdirection.

I think it looks cool. Shymalan has cool ideas, there's no debate about that.

I don't see how it could be misdirection. I would guarantee another twist after that early twist though. Is that misdirection? His movie's aren't getting better. Might watch streaming.

So are we to assume the Mom or the Daughter is the butcher? Clearly it isnt Hartnett.

Am I the only one that think that looks pretty awesome?

Even if Hartnett is the killer, I'm intrigued enough to check it out and see how he gets out (even though there is likely much more to it than that).

I mean he is involved since he is looking at the live feed. Also, he has to be the one to capture and carry them to where ever they are holding them at. He might not be the Butcher per say but he's definitely as cope-able.

Maybe I missed something, but how would he not get out? I'm assuming they have no idea what he looks like. Otherwise, they should have it posted everywhere and the guy he was talking to would recognize him. Are they just going to ask each person as they leave if they are the Butcher?

Plus, how would they know he would be there?

It seems like it's been a long time since an M. Night Shyamalan film has lived up to expectations.

intriguing premise.

ton of questions just pop up form the get go though.

how did they know he was going to be there to begin with?
how ere the planning on finding out who he is? i doubt he's going to admit it when leaving the venue lol.
Why would he keep a feed of his captor on his phone, that would be too easy to find!

id be more excited if it wasnt from Shyamalan. I keep wanting him to succeed but he just keeps disappointing.

Hard to believe a director has made such a career based on one twist in one movie.

I know there have been other decent movies and decent twists, but without the twist in 6th Sense, he probably doesn't have nearly the success he's had. I think you could make an argument that it was the biggest single moment in the career of any Hollywood director.

Maybe, the mom was killed by the butcher and Hartnett's character caught the butcher and is now torturing him. He got the taste for blood after torturing him, assumed his identity, and became the "new butcher." That's just the background. The movie is about him trying to get out of the trap, with his flashbacks of his murdering, and then he is able pen all of the "new butcher" murders on the the OG, then releases the OG to the cops. He gets away scot free, the hero.
