I remember watching all of these reports
1st report
Another one
(Cobain passed away on April 5, but it wasn't until days later that the body found in his home was discovered and identified.)
Later report

Hello everyone, I'm Kurt Loaded, we're here on hemp TV, with Cypress Hill in Amsterdam we're listening to their new album. I'm stoned, I'm outta here, Goodbye folks.

I was at several places that day and everywhere I went the sound was either off or really low on the TVs there.

I kept seeing Cobain performing on those TVs all day, then heard he died when I got home. It then made sense why I was seeing him all day.

For you GenX folks, this is going to hurt: Cobain's death is now further back in time (30 years) than MLK and Bobby Kennedy assassinations were before Cobain (26).

I didn’t realize Cobain has been dead longer than he lived. And that was 3 years ago.

I was there when it happened but never understood the love for them.
They were the most over rated band ever.

Blast away but dont care. He was a junkie, what did anyone expect?

Remember it like it was yesterday. I was 12 years old and it’s always three days before my birthday.

I remember thinking not shocking. Its seemed he was destined to die. I think most of us were expecting heroin OD and not a shotgun blast.

It was a sad waste of life. Heroin is horrible. I lost a childhood friend to
drugs, and he was a smart, decent guy.

As far as the music is concerned, it
was revolutionary.. Basic, but emotive.

Wasn't he your "friend" also your gay lover? I remember hearing about the drama surrounding his and your relationship. People talk you know.

I remember hearing it on the radio. Then I changed the station for a traffic update because that was more important.
