For mediocre music at best. Congrats to Drake, he continues to do it!

This is his 3rd best album after Take Care and Thank Me Later, IMO. All sound pretty similar, but I'm not feeling the R&B tracks on this one. He's not one of my favorites, but I like a handful of tracks off everything he's released. Oh well, Drake is going to end up as one of the most popular hip hop artists of all time. He knows what he does well, and he doesn't deviate away from it.

I've listened to "U with me?" more times then I probably should have. It's one of my favorite drake songs of all time

I've always looked at Drake as someone that can make hit after hit and make bank with singles, but the rest of his albums are meh

Take Care was decent at best, didn't have critical acclaim, and a lot of it was b sides from The Weeknd.

Catchy and sounds good, sure. Fantastic, that's a huge reach. Of course music is subjective as to what is great, but it's very telling that he's had nothing with any real critical acclaim, and he doesn't write his stuff.

I disagree, don't think it's a reach at all. That shite won a Grammy. What's a better rap album this decade? GKMC? MBDTF? Can't think of anything else that really comes close.

Winning a Grammy is a popularity contest now.

The best two albums last year were Kendrick and Sufjan Stevens. Neither won it.

Take Care with a 78 score on metacritic.

Let me know any great album with a score that low. MBDTF and TPAB are both with 90+ scores.

Summertime 06
TPAB
GKMC
Run the Jewels I/II

All better rap albums, imo. But I just don't really dig Drake that much.

Definitely nothing revolutionary in this album. A lot of good songs but very safe and not a whole lot of substance. Despite all that I've listened a ton of times and like the album a lot, pretty much exactly what I expected from drake
