At least Hart looks like an athlete in the playoffs

I’m wondering if anyone would trade CJ for Hart straight up right now?

From whose prospective? The Knicks would take CJ for Josh Hart in a heartbeat.

He's a hustle guy who can defend at an above average level while being a low efficiency offensive player. That guy only works if he's the worst player in your starting lineup, which he is.

Of course

CJ is the better player and swapping CJ for Hart would make us dead last in 3pt attempts, and our offense would tank.

Friendly reminder CJ was arguably the best 3pt shooter in the NBA this season. Swap him for Hart this season, and we likely don't get a top 10 seed.

Right

It’s been a frustrating series of course and CJ has not been good

But it’s easy to forget we are playing the fully healthy 1 seed in the west, and they are loaded with good defensive wing guys to throw at our wing guys

Our strength against them, and our best player, is not available

The fact that we were 1 shot from having this series tied before heading home is a testament to our coaching and talent, not a knock on it, IMO

Amazing what good spacing can do for a guy like Hart.

But at some point it doesn't matter what you do in the regular season I'd you can't do the same in the playoffs.

That goes for any player.
