I was for trading him before the deadline this year, although I could understand why the team didn’t want to do it. His trade value is gonna be in the toilet this offseason.

Meh, not really, especially if we attach a first to him.
I'm not worried about not getting something of worth from him. I'm just worried about Griff getting the wrong talent in return because he has shown no reason for us to believe he knows how to put together the correct team around Zion.
