One with BI as lead man and one with Zion as lead man. Need to pick one and trade the other for assets

We saw our ceiling with the BI Pels against the Suns a couple years ago, IMO

Fun, feisty, energetic, opportunistic, low ceiling

fricking shame they can’t play together. Hard to tell if we have two Batman’s or two robins.

If Jaylen Brown and Tatum can figure it out, we can.

Coaches need to coach

Best thing that can happen is BI goes off in the playoffs and someone overwhelms Griff with an offer in the offseason.

But knowing him, he will double down and think he’s right and we throw a max at him. Griff always makes the wrong move.

As opposed to our ceiling with Zion which is a first round playoff exit when he is hurt during playoffs

Need to pick Zion and the trade the other for assets. This shouldn't even be a question. In no world should they trade Zion, who still has top 10 player potential. BI does not and will never have that.

Because the roster hasn't changed much since then...

Definitely haven't added the likes of Trey, Herb, Jose, Dyson...

All those guys except Dyson were on that team but yea they were all rookies so no idea how that’s our ceiling. If anything that’s our floor.

Are people really of the thought that Zion should be the one traded? My goodness.

Zion is incredible but year 5 and he’s played in 1 post season game and zero playoff games. And it’s not like his team hasn’t been in those positions. There has to be some legit worry he won’t ever hold up enough to play 70 games + ramped up playoff level ball.

He’s way better so I get wanting just him but he’s very unreliable

Know what unlocked them?

Admitting mistakes and willing to correct them.

They needed a true ball handler who can defend and shoot, they went and got Derrick white after trying to situate it with IT, kemba, kyrie.

They needed a stretch big instead of a pure lob threat, they went and got kp and moved from Williams.

They realized the locker room leader and defensive anchor they lost, they went and got back horford.

They realized Marcus smart is a limited defensive player, they went and got holiday.

Their ability to admit mistakes and willingness to fix it is what makes them a good organization.

Realizing jv, Hayes, Nance, etc didn't work - should have gone for Daniel gafford or Allen.

Realizing we need a different guard, should have moved to get tyus Jones.

We sat still while still realizing our missing pieces, other teams went and fixed it.

The most outlier example ever. Unless Zion and Ingram starts taking 10+ threes between them, it's not even a remotely comparable example.

we have 3 - The Zion lead team with BI and everyone.

The Zion lead team without BI.

The BI lead team without Zion.

The top one doesn’t fall of much to the second one. But the top one to the third one is a major fall off.
