On 870 they were saying he’s also the best run blocker in the draft. Real nasty. Plays til the echo of the whistle

Oregon State ran a ton of zone blocking schemes. Fuaga should be a perfect fit for Kubiak.

Terron Armstead did it versus SWAC defenders.

What’s your point?

The only issue i have with him is that he played in the pac and wasn't a 5* kid out of HS.

His play at OSU was solid. He will be our best lineman very quickly.

Did you notice where the first DE off the board played? No, you didn’t.

Remember when they said the same shite about Penning?

Penning had very concerning things in his draft profile that made me not love that pick at the time. Fuaga doesn’t and saying someone plays to the whistle is never a bad thing. There’s no correlation to be made there.

Why does this matter?

Played against the top rusher taken in the draft and 5 star out of HS means diddly poo. We have seen top overall recruits who were garbage in the nfl and we have seen 2 stars that are the best in the league at their position

In defense of this pick, Penning isn’t analogous or many recent saints first round picks.

Fuaga played 2 years without getting hurt, without giving up a sack, and in a major conference.

This is a high floor, proven college prospect.

Penning everyone said he was raw as hell and would need time.

Fuaga is a finished product

Taliese Fuaga gave up ZERO sacks on 734 pass blocking snaps

Taliese gives zero fricks what some of you think, he will be a fixture at left tackle to 10 to 12 years and a perennial pro bowler.

So it’ll be the same thing for every single lineman we take? You people are fricking stupid

Bill Burr was right about people that watch the draft
