Before the crime comments, I mean it’s in Detroit this year…

Just thinking the backdrop along Bourbon & the French Quarter seems like a perfect fit no? NOLA just seems like a great spot for the draft.

Jazz Fest. City doesn’t want it.

It’s only a matter of time before we get it in Nola. I picture it being at the riverfront with fireworks over the river. Crime has nothing to do with it. We’re hosting the next Super Bowl. The draft isn’t even a zit on the arse of the Super Bowl.

The NFL just started doing this moving draft thing. It was in NYC for the longest time. I'm sure we'll get a shot eventually.

Jazz Fest and Zurich makes it impossible.

Where would they host it to place over 300,000 people in the same area in front of a stage?

We get Super Bowls.

They mostly go to non-Super Bowl cities like Kansas City, Cleveland, Detroit, Philly and Chicago.

We could do it at the big stage at Jazz Fest.

Well, considering the fact that they have trouble keeping power on for superbowls might play a factor in it.

Seems like Champions Square would be a good spot, but may not fit enough people

You have Jazz Fest and Zurich going on at the same time in Nola, as well as Festivale going on in Lafayette.

Police stretched wayyyy thin.

It's because of this.

Yes. A certain amount of hotel space is required as well as logistics, totally impossible. Not to mention possible nba playoff games.

Move it up a week or back, no problem.
