The Rams game is a microcosm of the entire season (rant)

In that game the Saints looked like shite for 3 quarters and came back in the 4th when the issue had already been decided to make it look respectable. And after the game DA and Carr were talking about how we had a chance to win, just caught a few bad breaks. The actual reality is they looked like shite for most of the game, and just added some meaningless points at the end to make it look more respectable.

The season has been the same way. The Saints have played TWO (3 if the Rams beat the 49ers today) teams with 10 or more wins. TWO! Keep in mind that’s only 3 wins above .500 in the modern NFL. Most teams would KILL for that schedule. What does DA do? Look like absolute shite all season until you play the horrible NFC South plus the fricking Giants, and finish 9-8 and miss the playoffs.

Allen, Loomis and Carr (and their smug arse attitudes) will all be back next year, saying we just caught a couple of bad breaks, and we were really a good playoff caliber team. Their willful ignorance and the way the twist the narratives pisses me off more than the actual games. We aren’t stupid people, we have eyes and ears. The Saints brass acts like what our eyes and ears tell us is wrong when in reality they rolled out an absolute shite product and got lucky to have one of the EASIEST SCHEDULES IN NFL HISTORY. As long as the people in charge continue to bury their head in the sand and act like everything is fine, I will continue losing interest in this team. Next year is already DOA for me because I’ve seen 2 years of Dennis Allen football and it isn’t good. They’re lucky I’m actually still able to get pissed about it and not completely apathetic.

TLDR The Saints are a bad team that benefited from one of the easiest NFL schedules ever and Allen and Carr coming back is a slap in the face to any fan with a brain.
