That's a joke considering how good our roster is

Our roster isn't as good as it was 2 years ago, but it's still pretty damn good

This is a playoff team. The only thing that I can see keeping the Saints down is the QB position. If Jameis shits the bed we're screwed.

Not out or the realm of possibility.

SP has left & Allen still has to prove himself as a successful HC.

His tenure in Oakland was horrendous.

andy dalton can get this team to at least 10 wins if winston doesn't pan out.

I'd take the under in a heartbeat.

We are an 8ish win team...assuming we don't have a QB debacle.

We could win 10-11 but that would require Jameis to be a QB we haven't seen yet AND the offensive coaching to be as good as it was under Payton...and the Kamara suspension have little impact (1-2 games).

That's too many huge questions, IMO.

They won 9 games with a QB debacle and turnstile along the oline last year. You think they regress by having an immediate upgrade at WR w/ MT back and the addition of Olave?

i agree, but he's serviceable with a great roster around him.

all we needed last year was serviceable.

Mike Detillier on WWL just said the updated odds were over/under 8.

I think they regress most by losing Payton and that impact on Winston.

Defensively, I really hated Marcus Williams at times, but now you have to replace him. You also have to replace Malcolm Jenkins. And, while Cam Jordan was awesome in the 2nd half, he really looked old in the first half of the year. He's not getting younger. It wouldn't suprise me if we aren't getting pressure off the edge the way we need to.

It's just so hard to win without a top QB. Our plan around that was related to Payton. Now, I think we are waiting for our next top QB.

Over - 13.5

The talent the defense has on paper is proto-typically elite. Make enough plays and gel well together and they can keep us in every single game, offense be damned.

If the offense stays healthy, the sky is the limit.

so only 4 wins outside the division where the majority of playoff opponents come from?

yikes...

If Jameis is QB, slightly under

If Dalton plays QB, over

I should've taken the 7.5 over before the draft.

What's it at now?
