Read in the comments about putting a finder in the dogs rectum to make it stop. I guess that’s useful info, but I sure hope I never need that life hack.

The other day I was in an outdoor seating area at a restaurant and a girl around the age of 5-6 years old was under a table harassing and pulling on the collar of a family friend’s pit bull while the adults sat at the other end of the table talking and ignoring them. I probably should have said something to the adults, but I could tell they would not receive my comment well and I’d probably end up on TikTok or Reddit as some sort of deranged pit bull hater.
As someone who narrowly avoided permanent facial disfigurement by a non-pit bull breed as a toddler, I am very squeamish about young children around dogs unsupervised - regardless of the breed.
