This. I didn't know they had gone to buffet style. Had a buddy who would come into BR a few times a year for work. He'd stay at Embassy Suites and invite me over for breakfast a couple times each trip. I actually worked around the corner, so it was a good chance to see him and eat a damn good omelette.

I'll search out free breakfast buffets when I'm traveling with kiddos. Stuff them full before heading out but just grab myself a Dr. Pepper and maybe an apple for later in the day. I skip breakfast most days anyway, so it's not that big of a deal for me.
