It took me years but I found a way where I could do what I like and that is the only way to live life. Find a job you want to do and enjoy doing. The stress can be overwhelming in any job and you will get pissed at it but find what you are good at and do it. That is where you will find happiness in life and love going to work each day.

I don’t know that I’d say enjoy. I wouldn’t show up if they stopped paying me. However, I don’t hate it either. It’s like anything else—moments of satisfaction and moments of mind-numbing frustration sandwiched around your average highs and lows.

I like my job. I don't wake up every day thrilled to do it, but don't dread it at all because unfortunately I'm not rich enough to retire.

There are days the people annoy me, or the hours because I work a few time zones ahead. But that would be any job.

But I find it interesting and challenging enough to be enjoyable, and in a very relaxed work environment that I love. Working remote with really a lot of flexibility for a company who overall treats me pretty good.

So no complaints.

Sadly, dread every waking moment and count down until the weekend. I would change "weekend" to "retirement".

I don’t enjoy working and only do it because they pay me

I do genuinely enjoy my job, but I also own the place, so maybe that's why. I've always enjoyed working, though. I cannot do nothing.

Absolutely. I work from home other than to attend meetings, occasionally requiring overnight travel, or the occasional customer visit with one of the field Reps. I make enough money to give my family a standard of living most cannot. What I do is interesting and makes real impact on business. The team that reports to me is good at their job, have good attitude for the most part, and don’t require micromanaging. And I genuinely like most of the people I work with.

The only part about my job that I dread is the drive to/from work. I hate the commute.

I wouldn't do my job for free but it isn't bad work. I do enjoy the sh*t out of playing with excel. It's satisfying to me. My boss is legit one of the best people I've ever met. I have a good work/life balance and am treated really well. I don't dislike anybody that I work with.

It's only 4 days a week and I get 4 weeks vacation plus 1 week of sick. I'm pretty lucky.

I did when I was younger... Now I hate it... and getting sick and tired of the medical industry.

Sticking it out for now, hoping to retire in less than 10 years.

For me, it genuinely depends on the client I'm working with at a given time. The conversations are so much easier with certain clients compared to others.

I do. I have had jobs in the past that I did not enjoy. I quit. Life is too short to spend time doing things that make you miserable. Of course there is the matter of perspective. All jobs suck arse at times...if they suck arse and you aren't in a position to make a change it is time for some introspection...either leave or make it suck arse less. The one thing that ain't gonna happen, unless your extremely lucky, is someone else making it suck less arse.

I hear people talk about their work not being fulfilling. If you are looking for fulfillment through work that's on you. Work is, for me, a means to facilitate fulfillment. All a matter of perspective...going through life as a happy go lucky stoic aint bad....

I am not enjoying it today, but, overall, I genuinely love my job.

i genuinely enjoy what i do and where i am at now. i dont dread going to work. feel good while im here. i like, for the most part, the people i work with.

i had a lot of issues with my perception of happiness and where i thought i SHOULD be, particularly financially. I have since realized that i was being too hard on myself, and that i should appreciate what i have.

so, my advice is if your unhappy, evaluate. is it the job or are you doing it to yourself? if it really is the former, then quit and do something else, lifes to short to do what you hate everyday.

in sales

not currently in love with the product i am selling. Limited customer interaction, after setting someone I only get called with problems.

the market is saturated and margins are tight.

the company I work for is chill but i could be making better money selling something else. It will be tough to give up the work/life balance i currently have
