St. Michael's will still be the best high school in the city
St. Michael's will take a big hit once St. George has its own school system. It will be like CP but CP was pretty much saved by the 2016 flood that allowed them to build a new school.

Why wouldn’t we just continue to use the sheriffs office like we been doing?

St. George will inevitably either fund and staff it's own municipal PD or EBRSO will be forced to redistribute services and/or taxes assessed on property across the parish to accurately reflect the agency's disparate activities in the parish's metro areas.
It's naive to think the BR powers-that-be will allow St. George to receive the lion's share of EBRSO patrol resources without paying extra for it while the other metros pay property tax to fund EBRSO without receiving equal patrol resources in return.

I live off of Tigerbend and we hear it nearly every single day. Sounds like a jet engine going by.

I haven't heard that one in a LONG time.
Elliot in ET called his brother penis breath.
And to be fair, alot of us had no idea why Landry appointed leaders or that it was a law. Some of y'all MFers are mean.

I actually thought penis breath was more insulting to be fair.

I disagree here. I think most parents are going to see are going to take a wait and see approach before pulling their kids from private schools. They may get some improvement if kids from the area are no longer allowed to attend BR High or other magnet schools.
According to EBR School maps most of kids going to Woodlawn live within the boundaries of St. George. You can put lipstick on a pig but it will still be a pig.

True, some kids are beyond help; however, a better school system with better administrators, principals and teachers can make a difference.
No, it’s not easy, but from reports I’ve heard about the EBRSS if can get better.
