I wonder which "environmental" groups advocated this policy?
Eco-fascists are among the worst

That’s really dumb. Water flows and is used and paid for by usage.

Whoever wins in November will likely get less than 25% of the documented population to vote for them.

Adding to the distress is Oregon's approach to water rights. In an effort touted as groundwater protection, the state has implemented rules that restrict the use of water for irrigation, considering all groundwater, even on private property, a public resource.
Communists hate private ownership of land or resources. With this and the squatters rights bullshite, they're not even hiding their intentions anymore.

Groundwater in Oregon has been a public resource since 1909. Those damn pre-WW1 communists must have known the future.

Bubba....industrial agriculture has been consolidating more and more of our food supply for decades now and practically no one has been bothered to so much as lift a finger......anywhere.
And to expound on this a bit....
Small farms are either going belly up for a variety of financial reasons or because younger generations want no part of farming. The viable small farms are being bought up by giant conglomerates, others are being shuttered and the land being sold for development. Yet, you think this particular issue is enough to rile up the people and bring them to arms? No one is paying attention or cares.
At least the pushback seems to have slowed or stopped this issue, though.

The largest private owner of farmland in America is Cascade, LLC, whose controlling member is Bill Gates (which also owns a bunch of high end hotel interests). I'm guessing his farms will be exempt.

They’re trying to stop people from being able to grow their own food, purposely induce a famine, and then blame it on climate change. Our government is plotting a genocide against its own citizens.
