She probably had a blood clot from the surgery but the hospital should have had her on a blood thinner post procedure.

OMG, they have 3 little girls. I found his wife's Facebook. This is a gut punch right before Christmas. I'm so sorry man.

God, be with this man and his sweet children. Give him strength during this awful time. Help those in his community reach out and watch over him. May Your love Father, surround Him and comfort Him, In Jesus's name we ask all these things, Amen.
If someone could set up an Amazon wish list for these kids with his OP's help, I would for sure send a gift or two to his house for Christmas for them.

Thank you brother. I hated like he'll to drop my pride and ask for help admitting to the folks I post with that I can't bury my wife. I need answered prayers though I know you guys are great people of integrity when life gets real. Thank you to all .

I thought his kids were older?
He was in the hospital for a while with covid some time ago .. we all had to beg him to go to the hospital with his symptoms. He got sent home and was doing well without smoking although his wife still was .. but was I think going to work on quitting.

The very same thing happened to a guy I use to throw darts with when I played league. His wife went it for replacement knee surgery and they lived in a 2 story house, so she was staying in the ground floor while recovering.
He went upstairs to do some things around the house since she was in a recliner resting and when he went down to check to see if she needed anything, she had passed away.
I do know the coroner took a LONG time with the autopsy in finding a cause of death before they released her body for burial. I didn't ask what they found since I figured if he wanted people to know, he'd let them know.
I'm sure it has hit the OP hard and ironically, it was also this time of year when this guys wife passed 3 years ago now.

Well she's 43 but I only saw the profile of of the 3 little girls. Maybe it's an older pic, I don't know.
I RA'd for a sticky. If we can help Owlie (which was awesome), we can help him too.
