Just a thought - The Immaculate Conception

I believe in this mystery, Mary born without without original sin. With that belief, does that mean she bypassed the pangs of childbirth, that were a curse of Eve's sin? Mary had no original sin, so she wasn't cursed with our suffering.

It’s getting pretty deep into the details of this mystery, but yes, that’s the logical extension of that teaching.
It’s no harder to accept than the virgin birth, or the incarnation, for that matter.
Once you come to the belief that God created us for a purpose, in his own image, and then to save us from our sinfulness, gave us his son, in the form a helpless baby, to teach us, to heal us, to show us the way, to auffer and die for us, and to be resurrected from the dead, then a little detail about a painless birthing process is not so astonishing.

It’s what becomes of a ping pong ball after it’s been pinged and ponged.

Why is this a mystery? We know what happened.

Some women feel only a slight pressure and then just drop the baby out. She may have been one of those.
"Joseph, I think it's time. See, I told you it was. Would you wipe out that manger and line it with some hay, then hand me those swaddling cloths. What? Visitors already? Did they bring any Diapers? No? Not very wise if you ask me. Men - what good are they? Oy Vey!"

According to Catholic teachings, yes:

Pope Alexander III (1169) wrote:
[Mary,] indeed conceived without shame, gave birth without pain, and went hence without corruption, according to the word of the angel, or rather [the word] of God through the angel, so that she should be proved to be full, not merely half filled, with grace and [so that] God her son should faithfully fulfill the ancient commandment that he had formerly given, namely, to treat one’s father and mother with honor.
