Just amazing what he accomplished in such a short period of time and the legacy that Nirvana has left to this day(Dave Grohl).

Nevermind is one of the seminal albums ever made and the music from it was vital in how our generation grew up and viewed the world. And Nirvana was one of the most influential bands ever.

Kurt was never intended to live long. Hard to believe he's been gone 30 years this year.

He wouldn’t have made 57 even if Courtney wouldn’t have killed him

Go YouTube Frances Bean Cobain. It's Kurt's daughter. She has a video where she plays guitar and sings. She looks just like him (though her singing is much better).

I hate that he went out the way he did, but if I’m being honest, in a lot of their songs he’s just nails on a chalkboard for me. Hope he found happiness and peace in those final moments.

I refuse to blame Kurt Cobain for the Foo Fighters. If he saw that one coming it would have been a murder/suicide.

Some of the best times to be a teenager, and some of the best albums ever put out!! Around the same time you had Alice In Chains, Tool, Primus, NIN and many others.

Concerts like Lallapaloosa, and all the rest!!! Greatest time to have been a teenager. Got to enjoy the 80’s and came into your own in the early 90s.

TMWSTW is a Bowie song.

Kurt covered it very well though.

I think he was both overrated, yet a pioneer at the same time. His album was the push grunge needed to take over. Having said that, his music was much less deep than the other grunge bands but he got a lot of the credit and most of the hype. So again, he was both imo.

Great times. It seems only a few years later it was all ace of base and other crap. It fell off quick.

I don’t think anyone should cover MJ, but Chris Cornell singing Billie Jean made me feel like I had knocked some chick up.
